Adding lime? Add water and a soil tiller, too. Lime is best at neutralizing the soil's pH when it has maximum contact with the soil. Tilling does exactly that - and adequate soil moisture triggers the chemical reactions that regulate soil pH.

GroundHog MAX

The Improved GroundHog "MAX" by Tufline Advantage…

Did you ever wish you could install a food plot in that remote "sweet-spot" location? You know that is where the big bucks stay during shooting light, right? Wouldn’t you like the increased odds of taking that big buck near your "sweet-spot"? We know you do, but the problem is you couldn’t get a plow there.

Have you and a buddy ever tried to use a pull-behind plow with your ATV? Were the results what you expected? Not to mention the hassle of using your truck and trailer to drag that heavy, hard to handle pull-behind plow from:

Well, you need the GroundHog MAX by Tufline. This tool is a one-man operation. It will handle the job without all that hassle, wasted time, wasted gas, and wasted money. If the ATV can get there you can plow there: soggy bottomland to rocky hillsides and everything in between the GroundHog MAX can handle them all. Just imagine the possibilities…

ATV's weigh on average 600 to 800 pounds. The GroundHog MAX by Tufline unique design uses this weight, and the weight of the driver, say 200 pounds. The combined weigh gives the downward pressure that creates its aggressive cut. With pull-behind plows your ATV is having to strain to move itself, you, and the plow. This amounts to dragging an additional 500 to 600 more pounds with you. Many people also add extra weight. Plowing speeds are limited to around 2-3 MPH. This strain on the ATV is why most pull-behinds require you to have 400CC liquid cooled engine or larger.

The GroundHog MAX by Tufline uses a two 10-inch inner 9 inch middle and and 8-inch outer blade set-up. Notched blades have high-speed tapered bearings and bearing protectors . This design and blade setup attacks the ground, grass, and other clutter that you find on many food-plot sites. You use the 48-pound plow like a 5th wheel. This allows you to go 2-7 mph in looping circles and figure eights. That's right, you don't have to go back and forth in straight lines. Another important aspect is you have the flexibility of utilizing reverse in tight places if you need to. You stay cooler and so does your ATVÉ plus you add a little FUN to the job

The Groundhog MAX by Tufline comes complete with a heavy-duty hitch system. This includes a ¼-wall 26-inch and 5-inch receiver tube and all mounting hardware. If your ATV or UTV has a strong 2" receiver the GroundHog MAX by Tufline is "Plug and Plow". If you don't have a strong 2" receiver use the heavy-duty hitch system in the box. This allows you to use your existing factory utility hole and ATV frame to create a rugged, forward-braced receiver hitch that really lasts. See our compatibility list for details

The GroundHog Max by Tufline tracks with your ATV for total maneuverability. This includes using reverse with the plow engaged. The ability to backup is critical for tight spots like roadbeds and firebreaks. The plow is adjustable to multiple depths by removing and replacing a tractor pin. You can flip the plow upside down to put it in transport mode. This lets you take the plow anywhere you can take your ATV. To engage for plowing you need to flip the plow down. To do this there are several options. You can back the ATV up on 4-inch ramps. Another way is to get the nose of the ATV down about 25% by using available terrain. We recommend, for safety purposes, to dig a hole 4-inches deep that you can drive your rear wheels over. The idea here is to get the disc lower than the rear wheels. Your shocks and suspension still work but you have the down pressure required.

The GroundHog MAX by Tufline is lightweight, easy to transport, maneuverable, easy to store, very durable, and maintenance free. Although this product is designed to be compact and easy to use it still lives up to the demanding expectations of hunters, outdoorsmen, ranchers, and farmers. The GroundHog MAX by Tufline is a rugged go anywhere tool. If your ATV can get there you can plow there: soggy bottomland to rocky hillsides and everything in between the GroundHog MAX by Tufline can handle them all. The Groundhog MAX and our line of lab tested and field proven Biologic seed makes for an easy to plant, productive food plot every time. Just imagine the possibilitiesÉ

Other uses for the GroundHog Max by Tufline include, swampy bottomland for ducks, landscaping uses (on zero turn lawn mowers), gardening, weed control and firebreaks, horse area and motor crossing track grooming. Anytime you can down size from a tractor to using your ATV it is much less of a hassle.

The GroundHog MAX is 100% Satisfaction Guaranteed! Be careful there are knock-offs out there. Except no substitutes!

The included ¼ wall 5-inch and 26-inch receiver tube can sometimes be fabricated to mount directly to the ATV frame, but is not recommended.
